Local Area Details

Situated in the charming historic village of Saint énogat, famously known as a former playground of famous poets and writers in the 19th century. With its own sandy beach and Thalassotherapy Centre, this quaint village offers a handful of friendly bars (French, Irish with live music at the weekend during high season), cafés, restaurants (traditional French, Moroccan, Crèperies, Pizzerias, ice cream parlours), patisseries that are impossible to walk past without buying one of their yummy cakes plus a fantastic butcher offering delicious charcuterie and traditional local dishes. The village also has mini-markets, a chemist, post office, ATM, newsagent and phone boxes.

For even more choice, the town centre of Dinard with a wide selection of cafés, bars and restaurants and an array of tourist amenities including a cinema, a casino (www.casino-barriere-dinard.com) and a lively daily market offering a wide range of high quality local produce and charming souvenirs/gifts is only 10 minutes walk away. The famous Saint Malo with its walled old town and long sandy beaches is only 15 minutes drive away.

The beach forms part of a delightful coastal walk stretching to Saint Malo. A short walk from the beach is rewarded with wonderful views of the famous walled town.
