Local Area Details

Langlade is a delightful old former cognac estate steeped in local history and tradition. Located in rolling country side of Charente, the property is set in over three acres of mature wooded and landscaped gardens.
Each of our holiday homes has been finished to the highest possible standard offering guests every comfort and convenience.
While many of our guests are happy to do nothing more than relax by one of our two swimming pools there is much to do for the more actively inclined. Walking and cycling along the many wooded country roads in the area is very popular while golfers are well catered for with a number of courses such as Angouleme and Cognac within an hours drive. Our local tennis club has four courts (one indoor) and is no more than a five minute drive from the property.
Meanwhile the wine connoisseur will find much to keep him occupiedwith some of France?s best known appellations such as St Emilion, Pomerol, Sauternes, Fronsac and Cognac all close by.
