Local Area DetailsThe Meadowlands Hotel provides live entertainment on weekends and some weeknights with excellent food served in the bar until 9:00pm nightly. The restaurant specialises in seafood but has a great choice of other dishes to accommodate every appetite.
Tralee sports complex provides public swimming times most days from 7:00am to 9:00pm. A child ticket is from €3.00 and an adult ticket is from €7.00. Newly built the facilities include swimming pool, gym, steam room, sauna, tennis courts and basketball courts.
Tralee Greyhound track is open every Tuesday, Thursday, friday and Saturday during summer months and an entrance fee of €5.00 allows you to place bets or have a dinner in the upstairs restaurant.
Siamsa Tíre has shows plays and musicals every Tuesday and Thursday evening as well as weekends from €10.00 to 15.00 per person. The Kerry Museum allows you to see Kerry develop over the years and take a walk through Tralee over 500 years ago.
