About Scenery/Beauty Spots
The most beautiful spot, in our opnion is where we live...there is a cross culture of english garden with the backdrop of native jarrah and marri forests. The area used to be famous for its stone fruit, pears and apples so there are many remnant orchards and an increasing number of wineries. There is also a local cidery, a historic precinct, and perhaps the best driving circuit in the whole of the southwest.

There is an enormous number of State Conservation forests to walk ihn, including walking the Bibbulum Track, a well cared for, 400km walk, which passes by.
About Local Attrcations
There is a local cidery, many wineries, the historic precinct with many old homes, a deep, open pit that has been dug as a tin and tantalum mine for 110 years (Ford House is also 110 years old). The winding slow river is fantastic for kayaking, and there a scenic drives that encircle Bridgetown.
About Local Restaurants
There are several restaurants from fine dining to casual fare in the town., as well as chinese, pizza, and fish and chips takeaway. During the day, there are a number of cafes, as well as the Tongue & Groove on the property (F,S,S). For extra fine dining, have a special feast in the Barn at the baronial high table (must be pre-booked).
About Driving
The roads between towns are all sealed, open and without hedgerows. Smaller roads are often sealed but some are unsealed.
About Walking
There is walks along the river as well as walks in the Forest, and walks on the Bibbulum Track, a famous, very long walking track nearby.
