We offer guests friendly hospitality, good cuisine ( the highlight of your stay will be the wondrous three-course breakfast) and an excellent location. Our guest rooms have very comfortable queen or twin beds and are attractively furnished in themes such as Acadian, Mexican, Oriental and French romantique complete with canopy bed. We have two rooms ( La Romantique and L’Acadienne) which share a 4-piece bathroom and La Suite which has its own bathroom and a sitting room along with the bedroom. You can relax or eat breakfast on the deck or sit and enjoy the view of Cole Harbour from our front lawn. There are reading materials, videos, magazines etc. available in the living room for the use of guests. We are also a totally smoke-free, pet-free establishment.

We are ideally located as a base to explore the historic cities of Halifax and Dartmouth, as well as Peggy’s Cove, the scenic South or Eastern Shore or to go to the beach, take walks on the numerous walking trails in the area, etc. We would be pleased to suggest attractions and points of interest which you may decide to include in your itinerary. Perhaps you may consider staying with us for several days or more.

Local Area Details

We are located ten minutes from two beaches and many walking trails. There is also canoeing, surfing, bird-watching and kayaking available nearby. If you prefer shopping and sightseeing, we are fifteen minutes from shopping malls, museums and historical sights such as the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, Pier 21, Halifax Citadel, the Public Gardens, and the Nova Scotia Gallery of Art.
