The villa is in a quiet residential area of Nea Makri. Our English family style caters for those who wish to grab a few days peace and quiet and see a few ancient stones as well as those on a more planned itinerary. The house has recently been completely refurbished to a high standard. Accommodation comprises of 1 double with ensuite; 1 twin with ensuite (shower only; 1 double and 1 twin with a bathroom. Tea a coffee making facilities are provided in all the rooms. Breakfast can be taken indoors or on a choice of 3 different outside areas. The garden is planted with figs, olives, lemons, oranges, pomegranates and vines.
Local Area DetailsNea Makri is a popular seaside resort traditionally popular with Athenians. It is a perfect base for trips to the centre of Athens (30 mins) and also to the rest of Attica. The port of Rafina, with year round ferries to the Cyclades is only 15 minutes away and the small ferry from Agia Marina to Evia is perfect for day trips. The new Attiki Odos motorway means that you can cross the Corinth Canal and be on the Peloponnese in an hour. Nea Makri has fish tavernas, bars and plently of shops and it burst with life in the summer months. Swimming in the crystal clear Aegean is safe from the local toen beach or on the long strip of Marathon Bay. Walking in the mountains comes highly recommended for the wildlife and flowers.
