Property Details of Ontario Bed and Breakfast
Located on Trent Canal, 4 minutes from downtown Peterborough. This little bit of heaven boasts a quiet atmosphere away from the bustle of the city. A totem pole overlooks our seven acres of lawn, fields and trees. You can swim in our heated pool, walk to the famous Peterborough liftlocks, to the adjacent woods or to downtown. Our suites are ground level with their own outside, keyed entrances. Each suite has it's own ensuite bath, A/C, cable TV, pillowtop beds, table/chairs etc. Wheelchair accessable, children and pets allowed with permission. Our resident pets include 2 sika deer, a goose and black german shepherd dogs (kept in a restricted area)
Local Area DetailsTrent University, SSFC, hockey rinks, golf courses, and all major highways are nearby. Peterborough has free entertainment during summer months. Free skating below Liftlocks in winter. Cross-country skiing and sledding in winter. Excellent restaurants, live stage shows, races, casino, farmer's market, craft shops all year round
