It is conceived as a large open space with fully equipped kitchen, dining room with tiled flooring overlooking the sunken living room and with a view outdoors over the pool.
There is also an additional sitting area on the mezzanine, with a TV monitor, video player with a small selection of videos and a book library.
Three bedrooms overlook the swimming pool and the fourth overlooks the village.
Two bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and the other bedrooms have bathrooms adjacent to them.
There is a private terrace, great for a cocktail at sunset. The private tiled pool (open from mid May until mid September),is bordered by a path that leads through an archway into the walled garden with fruit trees and herbs.
Local Area DetailsOupia is a quiet friendly village surrounded by vineyards and looks north to the Montagne Noir. It has a post office, grocery shop and restaurant.
It is home of the award-winning Chateau Oupia wine.
The busy market town of Olonzac is 3kms away and has a supermarket, bank with ATM,several bars,cafes, restaurants,bakeries, tabac, pharmacies and beauty salons. It hosts an open-air market every Tuesday morning.
There is also a beautiful botanical garden and tennis courts.
Lac Jouarres,at Homps, is just 2km beyond Olonzac, great for windsurfing and pedal boating.
Canal du Midi has a port at Homps, for boat hire or a 2hr boat ride on the canal.
