Beautiful detached villa with pool, located in the roman Campagna. It is an antique orangery built on a roman grotto and makes part of Villa della Contessa . It is located between Frascati (4 km) and Rome (9 km), on a hilltop. Amazing view of Rome, Castelli Romani, and a big part of Latium (Tivoli, Colonna, Zagarolo, Frascati, MonteCompatri, MontePorzio, Marcellina, Palombara, Soratte, etc) from the garden. Lies in the middle of the Frascati Doc wine region in a garden with olive trees, grapewines and a swimming pool. Castelgandolfo and Nemi lakes are about 15 minutes by car (about 10 km away), the sea is about 30 minutes away.
Villa La Limonaia sleeps 8: three bedrooms (double beds), two bathrooms, a living room with a fireplace and a very comfortable sofa bed for two (queen size bed), a kitchen. Sat-TV, radio, fridge, oven.
Can sleep up to 12 if rented together with Villa della Contessa.
Garden furniture, BBQ, pergola. Pets are allowed.
We speak english, german, french, spanish and italian.
Cars can be parked safely in the garden.
The area is very quiet and sunny.
Rome can be reached by car (10 km) or by train (in approximately 15 minutes).
There’s a train station in Frascati (4km) and another one just 3 km away from the house.
The owners are living in Villa della Contessa's ground floor and are at your disposal for questions, suggestions, informations on what to visit , where to eat, shopping, etc.

Rome, Frascati, Castelli Romani, seaside is about 30 min away, Ostia, Ostia Antica, Tivoli, Villa Adriana, Villa d'Este, Castelgandolfo and Nemi volcanic lakes are about 15min away, Naples, Pompei, Ercolano, Stabia are about 1 hour away, Subiaco is about 40 min away, plus many other.
Many golf courses in the surroundings.
Prices:
Weekly rental:
600 – 1300 euros (depending on the season and on the number of guests) + home expenses.
Home expenses
75 euros/week (gas, electricity,hot+cold water);
20 euros/week/person (towels + bed linen);
heating - if requested;
75 euros (cleaning at end).
A security deposit is requested and will be paid back at check out.
Local Area DetailsRelaxing by the pool, sightseeing, golf courses, volcanic lakes about 10 km away, sea is about 35 km away. There are so many beautiful and interesting sites to visit in the outskirts of Rome. Rome is just a 10 km away drive or about 15 minutes train ride.
The owners are living on the ground floor and they are at disposal for informations on places to visit, restaurants etc. The nearest tourism office is located in Frascati.
