The villa is in the countryside, yet near (10 minutes walk) from a nice town where you can find everything you may need (bars, restaurants, banks, markets, supermarkets, etc). it is on hilltop, surrounded by marvellous hills and mountains topped by small medieval villages. The villa is immersed in the green of olive groves and fruit trees. There is a large garden surrounding the villa with a very large gazebo, wood oven, brq, tennis table, football table and a nice swimming pool. The villa consists of two floors. On the first floor there is a living room with fire place, a kitchinette, three bedrooms, a very large bathroom with a shower and two basins,a very large diningroom and a bolcony on the green. Upstairs there is a living room/kitchen with dishwasher and air conditioning, two bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower, a big terrace on the green. In the villa there is also a washing machine. No parking problems.

The villa is very near a nice town and the environment is really nice, very simalar to that of Umbria and Tuscany,with olive groves and fruit trees. The villages around are hilltop, nice, interesting and very small, there are franciscan monasteries and Abbeys. 10 km far from the villa there is the Natural oasis of the river Tiber, where it is possible to go cycling, birdwatchin, or simply relax in the sun. The most important thing to say is that the villa is about 45 Km far from Rome, and Poggio Mirteto is connected to the capital by a metropolitan train.So if you are interested in visiting Rome or other interesting cities like Assisi, Orvieto, Perugia, Florence or Pompeii you can do it with a day trip from the villa which is very near the motorway A1 exit Ponzano-Romano Saratte. The owners of the villa are a friendly family, they will help you in every situation (they don't live far from the villa) and will give you any information you may need.
