While Rancho Jacona's solidly constructed adobe casita, Lizard -- Santa Fe rental self catering vacation cottage, is near Santa Fe and Los Alamos, it is entirely separate from city life. Our adobe enclave is an oasis of towering cottonwoods, acequias feeding our informal pond, gardens, statues, mobiles, and barnyard areas of sheep, goats, rabbits, donkeys, geese, and chickens.
Rancho Jacona's adobe self-catering vacation cottage near Santa Fe is part of an old Spanish land grant farm 20 minutes north of Santa Fe, NM in Northern New Mexico; a comfortable self-catering vacation cottage "home base" providing country tranquility while the cultural offerings of the Santa Fe area still near at hand.
Lying beneath towering cottonwoods in the Pojoaque River Valley, Rancho Jacona looks up at the Jemez Mountains on one side and the Sangre de Cristos on the other. Santa Fe Opera is 15 minutes south, while 7 historic pueblos are also nearby to our self-catering vacation cottage.
This Santa Fe rental self-catering vacation cottage is a pueblo-style adobe home, cheerfully decorated and comfortably furnished, with patio. This Santa Fe self-catering vacation cottage has one king bedroom, one queen with trundle, queen sofa bed in living room, one bath, private patio with view. Sleeps six. Spacious kitchen. Wood grill.

Rancho Jacona is family friendly, pet friendly. Rentals start at 3 days, longer stays save us money on expenses which we pass right on to our guests. Monthly winter stays are welcomed at even greater savings passed on.
