Casa da Mó is located in Pico Island, São Roque council, precisely in Prainha parish. The unit is located in a predominant agricultural area, overseing the ocean and with several bathing spots , from which we refer , the natural swimming pool of "Prainha de Baixo" ("Poça Branca"), which is located 5 walking minutes from property. The parish offers endless conditions for quality rural tourism in historic, cultural, gastronomical and natural landscape terms.  The parish also offers several leisure areas like the Prainha Forest Natural Park with endemic vegetation, children’s playground and barbeque and meeting points. You can also watch some wild animals like, for example, dears. It also offers wonderful panoramic views over the craggy slopes and of the nearby São Jorge Island. Road access is fairly good and there is a bus stop at approximately 800 meters. There are some supply points, providing bread and other goods. The nearest medical care service is located in the council centre, at Medical and Health Centre, 12 km from Praínha. Madalena is 32 Km and the airport 25 Km distant. Casa da Mó is a two-floor house. In the ground floor there is the living room with TV, HiFi, DVD player and a double sofabed, fully equipped kitchen (hob, oven, dishwasher, wash machine, refrigerator/freezer, sandwich maker, toaster, coffee machine) and bathroom. On the first floor there are two bedrooms, with two single beds and one double bed respectively. We also provide, at your request, cradle and baby care items.
