Although there are no views from inside the flat, outside along the 95-foot-long seafront terraces there is probably the best view you are ever likely to see - a vast panoramic scene with the majestic castle of St. Michael's Mount right in the middle; there is nothing between you and the sea; the ferry and pedestrian causeway are directly beneath you. There is nothing like an early-morning walk along the causeway to the castle, having first checked the tide is out of course, which might not be so obvious depending on how early it may be. Terraces were location for the movie The Shell Seekers starring Angela Lansbury and Sam Wannamaker and the BBC recently shot their balloon promotional film from just beneath us.
