This is the one bedroom POOL APARTMENT and comprises a very large bedroom with sea view, 2 double wardrobes, king-size bed that can be separated, writing desk & en suite shower room.
The living/dining room has 2 x 2 seat sofas, dining table with 4 chairs, TV/VCR (BBC1 & 2; ITV; Sky News) CD & DVD players. Good selection of CDs, DVDs, videocassettes & books to borrow without charge. (We now have wi-fi at 6e per week.)
This room has large sliding picture windows opening onto a large terrace with garden/pool/sea views.
It opens onto the kitchen area. This is both spacious & well equipped with a good range of cupboards, electric oven/gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, toaster, kettle, juicer, coffee-maker, crockery, cutlery, extractor fan, normal kitchen utensils etc.
In the garage is a communal washing machine, table-tennis & darts. Parking is free on the street.
If you are seeking somewhere a little different, like Stellar Artois-reassuringly expensive (but not too much!) but that is close to beaches, restaurants, shops and nightlife, you will do no better than Villa Tranquilla.

Local Area Details

Estepona is a typical Spanish fishing Port, founded 500 years ago. The Port still lands catches every day and the town is bustling and charming.
Lots of narrow back streets of whitewashed houses, local shops, plazas, cafes, restaurants & tapas bars. The seafront promenade connects the town to the Port and it is wonderful to stroll along, smelling the flowers, the ozone from the sea and watching the Spanish families going out together.
There is a bullring with occassional bullfights & pop concerts as well as four small museums. The old covered market is worth discovering and the walking street (Calle Real) is a must, especially if you like buying inexpensive leather shoes & handbags.
Selwo Safari Park is just out of the Town. Puerto Banus, Gibraltar & Marbella are around a 30 minute drive. Cadiz, Granada, Cordoba, Seville and Malaga are all worth visiting, but Ronda (1.25 hours) is a must-see.
All-in-all, a week isn't long enough and you will leave wanting more!!!
