The six room cottage features a wonderful romantic Roman-style bath features hand painted murals. Stereo CD music from over head speakers sooths you while you enjoy a wonderful Jacuzzi bath for two, or if you prefer, there is a walk-in glass block shower with two shower heads for your enjoyment.

The charming whimsical kitchen with nostalgic furnishings from the 1930's to 50's will brighten your stay. Complete with an antique 1930's gas range, a "red" refrigerator, micro wave, coffee maker and blender, everything you'll need for your culinary talents.

Relax in the charming living room with gas burning fireplace to warm you during the evening. Cable TV, with VCR and DVD is available.

The garden library features hand painted murals by Emerald City Artisans, offers a place to sit and relax, write letters or conduct business on your laptop. Internet connection phone lines are available.

In the upstairs loft* in the cottage, enjoy the views of Puget Sound and the Islands from story book windows in the Master bedroom. A queen size bed covered in French Toile fabric, down filled blanket and duvet, with plump large pillows are to cushion you as you rest. A large French armoire holds fluffy soft cotton robes and slippers with plenty of room to hold your belongings while you are our guest.
*Loft ceiling height is 6'2".

A second bedroom for the third person in the same party features an antique twin bed dressed with a charming rose print quilt. The murals in this room feature small creatures from Brambly Hedge story books.

Local Area Details

Rose Cottage Guest House is located in the historic area of Dash Point, Tacoma, WA. Close to Puget Sound beaches and parks, as well as day hikes at Mt. Rainer. Further south, Mt. St. Helens offers visitors a view of what volcanic action has caused and the regeneration of the forests around it.

A close 15 minute drive to downtown Tacoma and the University of Washington Tacoma campus, as well as the new Glass and Art Museums with rotating displays, Washington State History Museum and Antique districts.

Nearby is a 18 hole golf range, theatres and a short ferry ride will take you to many of the islands in Puget Sound for wonderful sightseeing and wineries.
