Local Area DetailsSituated behind the Sofitel Thalassa Marina Smir Hotel at the foot of the Rif mountains in North Morocco between M’diq and Ceuta. Ceuta is 10 minutes drive from the complex. Closest city is Tetouan.
Marina Smir is very attractive, with cafes, bars, restaurants and a large beach of soft white sand.
Traditional shopping available in the Medina of Tetouan, many bargains can be found such as carpets, furnishings, clothes, jewellery and pottery.
A big European style supermarket is 15 minutes drive from the complex
The Cabo Negro Golf course is also 15 minutes drive away offering 18 holes.
Fly to Tangiers in Morocco, or fly to Gibralter or Malaga and cross the Med from Algeciras to Ceuta by ferry (only a 35min crossing).
