Local Area Details

In close walking distance is the small town of Eumundi that features a major craft/performer/produce market on Saturdays and Wednesdays, various specialty restaurants and cafes, galleries featuring local artists and a unique large bookshop that includes antiquarian items. Eumundi market is a key attraction of the Sunshine Coast and attracts crowds from around the world. Noosa Heads is about fifteen minutes away with the attraction of boutique shopping and some of the best beaches and surf in Queensland. Also backing into Noosa Heads is the Noosa National Park with koalas and many other native animals. Further inland there are a number of beautiful little townships including Maleny, Mapleton, Montville and also Kenilworth with its blend of bakeries and specialist cheese makers.
