The Bavaria Bed & Breakfast is a small, charming hotel only 7 minutes from the city centre. We are situated on the western side of an extinct volcano in the heart of the historic suburb of Mt. Eden, which lies 2km from the city centre.

With only 11 guestrooms we assure warm, friendly and generous hospitality, offering quality B&B accommodation with all modern amenities.

Our 100-year-old Kauri Villa has recently been completely redecorated and refurbished with native timber furniture. The large, sunny guest lounge leads on to a private deck in a small exotic garden.

Local Area Details

Excellent shopping and dining is within walking distance. In the city, opposite the Visitor's Centre in Queen Street, take buses with numbers starting with 25 or 26. At the airport, use a mini-shuttle bus which will drop you off at our door-step. Motorway exit from the North is 'Gillies Avenue'. Motorway exit from the South is 'Greenlane Road'.
