Beautiful cottages with breathtaking view in Husavik (Myvatn) North Iceland, in the Whale watching Capital of Europe. We offer the comfort of a motel-suite and the privacy of a cottage. We are located on the farmland of Kaldbakur within the Town of Husavik. A unique mixture of country comfort and urban live.

The houses have one or two bedrooms with one double bed and two single beds or a sleeping sofa, a private WC with a shower. The living room has a sleeping sofa, TV., radio and a kitchenette w/refrigerator, water basin, coffee machine, toaster, microwave oven and hot and cold water. The houses have electricity, geothermal heating and a big terrace. Two of them have sleeping loft, where up to 3 people can sleep. hot tubs are on the lot.

Excellent location on the "Diamond Ring Road": The Husavik-Dettifoss-Myvatn-Husavik round-trip journey. The scenic 260 km long Diamond Ring Road offers many of the most interesting and beautiful places in Iceland. Husavik starts this spectacular round trip journey, which passes by the stunning Dettifoss waterfall and the gorgeous lake Myvatn, before returning to Husavik. Along the way, travelers encounter the Dark Castles, Nama-fjall Geysers, the Crater of Hell, the Blue Lagoon of the North, the volcanic Krafla, the Waterfall of Gods, Asbyrgi canyon, the Jökulsargljufur Canyon National Park, the fossils and birds of Tjörnes, six interesting museums and the ghost valleys of the north. The Diamond Ring Road is stepped in history and every hill offers a surprising new view.
Due to our excellent location, we can recommend at least four days to fully enjoy the Diamond Ring Road. Spend one day in the Myvatn area. Together, the National Park of Jokulsargljufur canyon and the Dettifoss area, deserve at least one day. Reserve one more day to drive the Diamond Ring Road and visit all the small interesting places. Finally, don't miss our beautiful Husavik. Go whale watching, sea angling or hunting,.Many activities are within easy reach from our cottages, including golfing, bird watching and free fishing (30 meters to the lake). A swimming pool and natural warm bath are nearby. You can also visit Husavik's museums and restaurants or take a refreshing walk around the lakes or up to the hills Of course, if you prefer, you can simply relax in our cozy cottages, or in our hot tubs and enjoy the beautiful view.......and plan the next trip.......to Iceland!

Dettifoss, Myvatn, Nature baths (The blue lagoon of the north), Goðafoss, Krafla, �?sbyrgi, the park in Jökulsárgljúfur canyon, the fossils at Tjörnes, the ghost valleys of the north. History at every step, new view following every hill. Just to mention a few places for visit.
What to do?....The Husavik Whale Watching (the very best!), golfing (1500 meters), walking (excellent paths), horse riding, bird watching (directly from the cottages!), fishing (free! 100 meters to the lake), hunting, hot tubs, swimming pool (2,5 km), outside natural warm bath (500 meters), skiing and snowscooter (only in winter!) or do absolutely nothing, the Icelandic way, in close proximity to nature
