Resort: This lively mountain resort is situated on a sunny plateau of the Arves mountain range, 80 km south-east of Chambery and 17 km above St Jean de Maurienne (station, direct link with the TGV, station linked by shuttle). Le Corbier with its "P'tits Montagnards" is perfect for children: creche for children 6 months to 3 years, 3 children’s clubs for those 4 to 15 years. In summer, there is on site children’s entertainment. In winter, there is apres ski and evening entertainment for the children and adults. Free for children less than 5 and those older than 75 years, 60 ski guides, children’s nursery for those 3-6 years. 18 km of cross country ski trails. Ski runs at the foot of the apartment buildings. Artificial ice skating rink, slalom run, paraponting, skidoos, natural treks with snow shoes. 33 snow cannons.
