Quiet Oceanfront Vacation Suite which is centrally located on Vancouver Island and has 2 large bedrooms, a beautiful living room with a fireplace, TV, VCR and a computer with internet access included. This suite is self contained and equipped with a kitchen and a barbeque. All linens and towels supplied. Enjoy the peaceful sounds of the Ocean and the spectacular views across Georgia Strait. Chrome Island Lighthouse is a sight to behold. There is ample parking for a boat and/or RV. Just bring you food and clothing and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this town of Bowser in Lighthouse Country.
Local Area DetailsThere are six golf courses in the area and are open all year round. Mr. Washington is less than an hour away for excellent skiing and in the summer mountain bikeing, or hikeing. Horne Lake Caves is a must and Coombs is the wonderful market where the goats live on the roof. Courtenay and Comox are only thirty minutes up Island and if you want to head down Island, then Victoria is a two hour drive and Chemainus is on the way where you will see painted murals on the walls of the buildings in the town. Kayaking, fishing, golfing, hikeing, whale watching, storm watching, bird watching or just watching the eagles and exploring the tide pools on the beach are only a few of the many activities you can take part in while staying at Oceanside Haven. Additional InformationAbout ShoppingWoodgrove Mall in Nanaimo is the largest shopping centre on Vancouver Island and is only 40 minutes away. There is also wonderfull shopping in the village of Qualicum Beach only 15 minutes away or you can go up to Courtenay for big box stores as well as village shopping only 30 minutes away. Of course there is our Magnolia Court gift shop right here in Bowser with many items to choose from.
