Set in the grounds of Cerdyn Villa on the outskirts of the town, WTB 3 star Cerdyn Cottage provides self-catering holiday accommodation for three persons, comprising of a double bedroom and a small single bedroom (also a double sofa bed in the living room). There is a fully equipped kitchen with cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine and the cottage has the benefit of gas-fired central heating for those chillier Welsh nights. An integrated TV and Video along with audio equipment is provided in the living room. All gas and electricity usage is included in the rate. Garden furniture is provided so you can enjoy the tranquil garden and splendid views.
If you fancy a treat, breakfast is available in the main villa at a charge of £6.50 per head. We also offer packed lunches and flasks at very reasonable rates.
Within easy walking distance of pubs, restaurants, shops and the station, Cerdyn Cottage and Villa are conveniently located and yet wonderfully secluded. Ideal as a base to explore the wonderful Powys countryside. Great for walkers, mountain bikers, off-roaders, birdwatchers and fishermen. Make sure you keep an eye open for the local wildlife, especially the magnificent Red Kite.

Local Area Details

With sheep outside every window it is easy to forget the hustle and bustle of city life! In spring the lambs bleating and prancing will bring a smile to your face and the kids will love it. The River Irfon has recently been re-colonised with otters and there is plenty of opportunity for the fishermen amongst you.
Bird watchers will be in their element, with the area known for its prolific Red Kite and Buzzard population. Why not visit the Gigrin Farm Red Kite Feeding Station. You will also see many of our native birds that have almost disappeared from the town garden – and you won’t have to leave the house to do it!

However, a walk in the locality will provide your eyes (and nose) with a wealth of wild flowers, mature trees and scented shrubs. For Horse Riding and Pony Trekking, there is plenty of opportunity. Why not try Foss Farm – 2 minutes walk away! Llanwrtyd Wells is the perfect centre for so many outdoor activities; Mountain Biking, Pony Trekking, Walking, Fishing, Bird Watching, Golf and Painting.
