Property Details of Lanzarote Surf Lodge

This house is ideal for large groups of friends or families wishing to holiday together but also wanting privacy from each other. The property comprises of two apartments, each with two bedrooms. To the rear of the house is a large, private swimming pool. The beautiful Playa Famara beach (the best surfing and kitesurfing beach in Lanzarote) and the amenities of Caleta de Famara are just a two minute walk away.

The house is divided into a first floor and ground floor apartment. The apartments are completely self contained and have their own entrances. Both of the apartments are furnished in a comfortable Spanish style and each has an open plan living, dining and kitchen area. Both apartments have two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with twin beds. There is a bathroom in each apartment.

The terraced house has a large, private swimming pool which is situated in the walled patio area to the rear of the ground floor apartment. The pool is accessed by Roman steps and is surrounded by a sunbathing terrace. Patio furniture and a BBQ are provided to make the most of the Lanzarote climate. The first floor apartment has a long balcony to the front of the property and a terrace to the rear which overlooks the swimming pool.

Local Area Details

The house is in the heart of a residential area of the sleepy fishing village of Caleta de Famara. The beautiful Playa Famara beach is only a two minute walk away, as is a small selection of local shops, bars and restaurants.

Playa Famara is an excellent location for newbie, beginner and intermediate surfers. (We can also arrange Surfing lessons on daily and weekly basis on your behalf). It is also the perfect base for Intermediate to advanced and experienced surfers, the world class reef break of San Juan is located here as well as some other challenging reef breaks. The infamous El Quemao and the epic La Santa Point are only a 10 min, drive away.

Playa Famara beach is home to a handful of local kitesurfers. The waves can be demanding (sideshore wind conditions). The beach is clearly marked and zoned for kiteboarding and you should adhere to these zones. Zoco do not recommend anyone under IKO level 3 going out on their own. We can arrange Kitesurfing lessons on daily and weekly basis on your behalf.
