The villa has parking space and is accessed via steps down to a balcony/terrace. It has been fully modernised and has tiled floors throughout. The accommodation is arranged on one floor, with wooden shutters on all the doors and windows.
The villa is surrounded by an attractive balcony, with access via French windows from both bedrooms and the sitting/dining area. For outside living, there are a table and chairs, easy chairs and a barbecue. The kitchen is modern, bright and very well equipped. There are wall-mounted electric heaters in both bedrooms and the sitting/dining room.

The villa is set on the slope of a quiet, secluded valley, nestling in the foothills of the Pyrenees, two miles from the villages of Sorede and Laroque des Alberes. It is close to beautiful beaches in both France (the Cote Vermeille) and Spain (Bay of Rosas, St. Marti, and the freshwater lake at Darnius), excellent restaurants, village shops and supermarkets. A short drive inland takes you into the Pyrenees to explore unspoilt villages on both sides of the border. Sorede is an ideal base for swimming, walking, climbing, skiing, mountain-biking, or just relaxing! Tennis, golf, and horse riding are also available locally.
Argeles sur Mer (8 miles) is a lively coastal town offering plenty of nightlife.
This area has a Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers (table top fans are provided in each of the bedrooms). From the end of November until April there is usually a heavy snow covering on the mountains, yet you can often enjoy warm, sunny days on the coast and the plain. But it can also be cold and wet at this time of year, and it is advisable to take warm clothing and waterproofs.

| Changeover day is Saturday and guests are asked to arrive at the villa after 4 pm, and depart before 10 am. All bed linen, duvet covers are included in the rental cost. If you stay more than a week, a change is supplied each week.
You can make a provisional booking by ‘phone or email. This booking will be held for 3 working days, pending receipt of a non-refundable deposit of £100.00. Upon receipt of this deposit (or full payment if booking within 8 weeks of holiday date) and completed booking form, we will write to confirm your booking, enclosing an invoice. Payment of the invoice is required 8 weeks prior to the first day of your stay. Included in your invoice will be a security deposit of £100.00. (This is fully refundable at the end of your stay, providing there are no deductions made for breakages, extra cleaning etc.) Also included in the invoice will be a cleaning charge of £30.00. The cost of electricity is inclusive for the months of May to September. From October to April an electricity charge of £20 per week will be payable.
