11 room chateau 600 m2 on 3 floors: entrance. Dining room 45 m2. 2 rooms 50 m2 each with fireplace (wood is extra), TV, video, linked by a hallway opening on to the garden. Kitchen (5 hot plates, 2 ovens, microwave, grill, dishwasher, freezer) with dining table, opening on to garden. Separate WC. 1st floor: 1 room with double bed and bath/wC. 1 room with double bed with bath/WC, giving access to 1 single bedroom. 1 twin bedroom, hipbath/WC. 2nd floor (sloping ceilings 1.20 m to 2.30 m height): 1 room with double bed and hipbath/WC. 2 twin bedrooms. 1 single bedroom. Shower. Separate WC. Parquet in all the rooms except bathrooms and kitchen. One bedroom has carpet. Extra: heating to be paid for on site according to use from 1 Oct to 30 April. Included in the rental: 4 hours of cleaning per week, it is possible to wash and dry linen. Extra and on request: ironing. A change of linen of stays of a minimum of 2 weeks. Deposit: 770 euros.
Dangeau 17 km from Châteaudun: Chateau Bouthonvilliers, from 18th century, comprising of a central part in Louis 16th style, and 2 pavillions situated in the wings, style Henri IV. The left wing and the outer buildings are occupied by the owners. The chateau has an English garden of 20 hectares and a chapel. Lake 2000 m2 with ducks and geese. Fishing is possible on request. Pond 4 m wide (depth 60 cm). Private swimming pool with roman steps (11.50 m x 3.85m, depth 1.50 m to 1.80 m, 1 May to 30 September), surrounded by a small wall and secured by a sliding electric cover. Pool house, sun loungers, garden furniture, table tennis, barbecue. Shower. WC. Access by a central pathway 500 m (partly tarmac). Train line TGV 1.5 km. A caretaker lives in the annexe to the far north. In house: central heating, burglar alarm. Communal covered parking. Shop, supermarket, restaurant 5 km, railway station "Brou ou Bonneval" 7 km. Tennis 5 km, golf course 25 km, riding stables 5 km.
Quiet city with 14'500 inhabitants, in the southern part of the region, 45 km from Chartres, 50 km from Orléans, 57 km from Blois. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. Museum, cinema, attractions. Access: railway station "SNCF Chateaudun". Bus service. Dreux 80 km. To see: Foulon caves. For arrivals by plane: airport Orly (ORY) 125 km.
