Property Details of Lanzarote Surf Lodge
This spacious house was once a fisherman´s cottage and has now been converted into three independent apartments which are perfect for groups of friends or family travelling together. The house is in the heart of the village just one street back from the sea. The harbour beach and the main beach are within a two minute walk of the house.
The house comprises of one apartment with one bedroom and two apartments each with two bedrooms. The one bedroom apartment has twin beds which are pushed together. In the two bedroom apartment there is one bedroom with twin beds pushed together and another with bunkeds. The top floor apartment has one double bedroom and one bedroom with twin beds pushed together. Each apartment has its own entrance, a shower room and a modern kitchen which is open plan to the living area. The one bedroom apartment and one of the two bedroom apartments are interconnected by a door. The top floor two bedroom apartment has a terrace area with fantastic sea views. As the house is one of the traditional village houses, it has a great deal of quirky character and is not just a faceless modern building.
Local Area DetailsThe house is in the heart of the pretty fishing village of Caleta de Famara and is in the older part of town where the streets and roads are still made from sand. The harbour beach and reef break are within a minute´s walk of the house and the main beach, Playa Famara is a two minute walk away. Playa Famara beach is a popular spot with surfers and kitesurfers and is the longest natural beach in Lanzarote. There are several restaurants, bars and small shops within a couple of minutes´ walk of the house.
