Villa Tuzlabeli is a large detached 5 bedroomed villa with private pool and gardens, Set in a beautiful valley surrounded by mountains.
On the ground floor you will find a large fully equipped kitchen with double doors leading out onto a spacious balcony,a dining room, bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and separate shower cubical, a double bedroom and the open plan lounge that leads out onto the pool terrace. Upstairs there is a Family shower room two twin rooms the master ensuite bedroom and another bedroom which has a double bed as well as a sofabed. All but one of the bedrooms have balconies There is also another seating area with double doors leading to a further balcony giving you the chance to enjoy some wonderful views.
The pool terrace is equipped with sun loungers parasols etc Wrought iron steps lead down to a lower patio area complete with built in BBQ, and the gardens.
There is a further patio area on the other side of the house. Please note that to make your holiday as safe as possible a gated wrought iron railing has been put in place around the covered section of the terrace.
There is a selection of books, board games, CDs, and DVDs, a cool bag and separate towels for use outside or at the beach available if you require them.
For the younger members of your party we have supplied a travel cot with bassinet, high chair, stair gate and all terrain 3 wheeler pushchair (subject to condition it is left in by previous user (tyre punctures etc)) if you require them.

Local Area Details

Just a short walk from the villa is the traditional village of Uzumlu where you can buy local produce. There is also a post office, restaurants, wine bar, and a local market on Fridays.

The village of Uzumlu is one of spectacular natural beauty, set in a valley surrounded by dense pine forests rugged hillsides and fields of cotton, sesame, aniseed, wheat, barley and a variety of vegetables as well as apples, grapes, almonds, pears, figs and olives . At the start of the season the poppies and other wild flowers fill the meadows with an abundance of colour. It is 500m above sea level which means the cooling mountain breezes are perfect for when the local temperatures soar in the summer months. The area is steeped in history and is ideal as a base to explore the countryside including the hilltop Roman city of Cadianda approx 20mins away.
If you prefer more choice then Fethiye is just twenty minutes drive away Here you will find bustling shops a harbour museum and the large Tuesday market.
The nearest beach to Uzumlu is at Calis It is a quiet yet busy holiday resort with a seemingly endless beach the shoreline is 6km long and is a significant nesting place for turtles A good selection of bars and restaurants line the promenade Water taxis run regularly between Calis and Fethiye Harbour.
Slightly further away are the ancient ruins and unspoilt 20km beach of Patara and also Salikent Gorge famous for Rafting.
The international airport of Dalaman is approx 45 mins away.
We recommend you hire a car, but the local public transport into Fethiye is fairly cheap and regular.

About Beaches

There are several beaches of note in this part of Turkey these include: Ölüdeniz: with its famous blue lagoon that is surrounded by moutains is said to be the pearl of the mediterranean. Patara Beach: which is a national park some 18-20 km of sand has mountains at each end and sand dunes along its length as well as a marsh that was once a harbour. Home too many birds as well as being a breeding ground for loggerhead turtles. It is a gorgeous place to relax, enjoy the sun and swim. The Iztuzu sandbar (Dalyan): separates the sea from the channel; it stretches for 5km from the channel mouth. The fine sand and shallow sea make it a perfect place to spend some time soaking up the sun. It is also one of the few places so that the endangered loggerhead turtles (Caretta Caretta) make their nests therefore it is closed to the public after 8:00pm to allow the turtles to come ashore and lay their eggs.
