We have 5 two bedroom riverfront Tree Houses, 1 larger tree house with three bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and a ground level two bedroom unit (ideal for assisted wheelchair or persons not wanting stairs).
This property is in the mountains behind Cairns, 750 metres above sea level, and has a beautiful climate. It is over 100 acres of private, Rare and Ancient Rainforest (with no mosquitoes). The houses are fully equipped. Luxurious towels & robes, bubblebath, candles, bird books, fauna & flora species lists. There is even a hammock and BBQ on the verandah, which overlooks the river. TV, DVD & Telephone.
With just a pane of glass between luxury and wilderness, there is abundant wildlife and few people.
Local Area DetailsSituated in the Waterfalls and Crater Lakes district of the Atherton Tablelands/Cairns Highlands, there are many accessible waterfalls. The
two Crater Lakes Eacham (ideal for swimming) and Lake Barrine, with a cruise boat are beautiful spots to enjoy being alive. There is history, geological, pioneers. Gemstones, Craft Galleries and country markets.
It is where the reef, rainforest and outback combine, so it is a wonderful place to explore the region.
