The village is surrounded by patchwork countryside, magnificent views and mature woods there are endless opportunities for gentle walks or running where the vistas are absolutely splendid, looking over small hilltop towns and villages with the Apennine mountain range forming the backdrop in the far distance. It is a perfect basecamp for backpackers, explorers, artists who are on a tight budget and need an inexpensive foothold in tuscany/umbria from which to experience italian country life. the house is old and run by an italian family who along with raising chickens, rabbits, ducks and pigeons have a small vineyard and make their wine in the cantina below. there is a small outdoor terrace belonging to the apartment where guests may sit and eat al fresco.
