IN MOONLIGHT ON THE TERRACES, with the diamond surf sparkling across the bay in front of the Disneyesque St. Michael's Mount, it is like relaxing on your own cruiseship; there is nothing between you and the sea except our seawall, from which you can also catch fish at high tide. IN SUMMER SUN, the terraces are great for using our built-in barbeque, or just lazing away the days watching the passing sea traffic. IN WINTER, the waves roar over the seawall, leaving you clad in seaweed and ozone. There are no roads to cross to reach a pub, a grocery store, the beach, the ferry, the causeway, the beach. Although there are no views from inside Courtyard Cottage, step outside, cross the private courtyard, and you are on the terraces, which have dramatic postcard views you won't believe. By the way, because the cottage is directly opposite the Mews Flat within the courtyard, it is an ideal situation for two families who wish to be together but separate. IDEA! Bring your own inflatable kayak or small boat and launch it from below the terrace - we do. Pets are welcome at additional cost. (Dogs go bananas racing through the waves, rock pools and shallows). SLEEPS UP TO FIVE PERSONS IN TWO BEDROOMS OR UP TO SEVEN WITH ADJACENT MEWS FLAT. (If dates can be coordinated at all four properties, up to 17 persons can be accommodated between Mousehole and Marazion)
