Rocky Mountain Escape offers private, secluded log cabin accommodation and year-round, nature-oriented activities (hiking, horseback riding, canoeing, fishing, whitewater rafting, cross-country skiis, snowshoeing and dog sledding). Our cabins are located amidst the front ranges of the Canadian Rockies, adjacent to Jasper National Park and vast, undeveloped Willmore Wilderness. We cater to folks looking for a quiet, non-touristy spot from which to enjoy the wilderness.
Local Area DetailsNumerous hiking, x-country skiing and snowshoeing trails are available right from the 'Escape cabins. Horseback riding and fishing are available at nearby Rock Lake, while canoeing is done in Switzer Park on a wonderful chain of lakes through riparian habitat. Whitewater rafting is available near Grande Cache. All activities are available as day trips and as multi-day adventures.

| Self-catering accommodation is available ONLY between October 1 and June 1, and is not available during the Christmas/New Years holidays. As we are in a relatively remote location, there is no cooking allowed in the cabins. Instead, a fully equipped cook house and outdoor fire pit are used.
For guests wishing to experience the full amenities of Rocky Mountain Escape during our peak summer season (June 1 to October 1), our rates are $125/adult/night and include your private cabin accommodation, all meals, guided, interpretive day hikes and transportation to and from trailheads. |
