This charming Cape Dutch style cottages are located in a tranquil corner of beautiful Franschhoek village and just a short walk from the numerous art galleries, restaurants and shops on the main street.
Each of the cottages has 2 bedrooms (choice of single or double beds), 2 bathrooms, large kitchen and a separate lounge with open fire and patio doors leading onto sunny verandah with grape vines, lovely sunny garden and delightful swimming pool. The Cottages are ideal for families and children are welcome.
Both Cottages are the perfect place from which to enjoy all that the area has to offer. The local wine estates produce some of South Africa's finest wines and Franschhoek has several of the best restaurants in South Africa, earning itself the title of "the gourmet capital of the Cape". Outdoor activities include walking, horse riding, mountain biking and fly fishing for trout in the local rivers and dams.
Franschhoek is within easy access of Cape Town (Airport 45mins), and lovely beaches along the coast.
Iris Cottage is connected by a secret door at the end of the garden to Heidi Cottage which also accommodates 4 people and has its own pool and beautiful gardens. The two cottages rented together are ideal for larger groups.

Franschhoek is the perfect base from which to explore this unique and most breathtaking region, as well as the many superb wine estates.
