Your accommodation is located in the village of Crissolo, a few kilometres from the sources of the Po and mountains such as Monviso. Once in the accommodation, a number of activities await you: excursions into the woods, walks to the lakes and mountain refuges, climbing, not to mention the many types of skiing: on the runs (in Crissolo’s small skiing area) or downhill skiing. Crissolo is also one of the towns that will host the 2006 Winter Olympic Games, in particular the downhill event (from 27/02/2006 to 04/03/2006). For lovers of culture, art and old Italian towns, a visit to see Saluzzo is a must (photo above)! And you might succumb to a succulent truffle, one of the (many) specialities of the region!
