Les Glycines (50m2 - 4 people) is an open plan apartment with a living room area, which has a double sofa bed, a hi-fi and a television. A fitted corner kitchen is equipped with a fridge, hotplates, an oven, a microwave , washing machine and coffee maker and toaster. The bedroom with a dressing is spacious and bright and has a double bed with eventually an additional single bed. There is a bathroom with a shower, washbasin, bidet and wc.
The domain is set on 5ha and is composed of several cottages in stones, built at the end of the 18th century. It is situated in the Aude department and at 300m of the little village of Fontiers Cabardès.
Our 3 apartments are on ground floor, face south, open onto a large lawn shaded by three enormous chestnut trees overhanging the lake and with the Pyrénées Mountains in the distance.
The apartments have all been fully restored in keeping with the original style of the house and furnished with country furniture.
Garden furniture and barbecues are at your disposal and bicycles, board games, croquet, badminton and pétanque are also provided.
You are welcome to wander wherever you like over the property which is fenced and have access to the parking inside the property.
In summer our swimming pool (11mx4m), built in respect of standard security rules is at your disposal.

Local Area Details

The Cité of Carcassonne is of a real historical interest, even also the numerous castles (Quéribus, Peyrepertuse, Puylaurens, Lastours and others) and the abbeys and churches (Caunes, Saint Papoul, Fontfroide ...).
If you like shiver visits, you could visit caves as les Grottes de Limousis, abyses as le Gouffre géant de Cabrespine or animal reserve as la réserve africaine de Sigean.
And if you like the calm of the nature, you could walk in beautiful forests and around splendid lakes where you could bath.
In the local restaurants, you could taste foie gras, cassoulet, magrets, confit de canard, the famous Blanquette of Limoux and wines of the region.
