Property Details of Barbados Apartment

Location: We are in Derricks, St. James (West Coast) across from the Sandy Cove Hotel and approximately 200 yards from Paynes Bay.

Beach: We are not on the beach; from the apartments to the beach is 1 minute walk. We have an access to the beach which is 90 meters walk from the apartments. It is a secluded cove where excellent swimming and snorkeling can be enjoyed. It is the same beach area as shared with the Sandy Cove Hotel.

Facilities: We have a restaurant and bar on the premises and offer excellent home cooked meals. Our menu features Vegetarian, Seafood, Indian and authentic Caribbean cuisine. Breakfast and dinner is served.

Activities: Yoga and meditation classes are held daily in our gardens. Classes maybe be booked in advance. Cost per class per person is US$10.00. Massages can also be arranged and done in house. Cost for 1 hour US$60.00

Units: All our units are furnished and self-catering with kitchenette, utensils, cooker, fridge, dishes, coffee maker and toaster oven. All units are airconditioned with ceiling fan, and or standing fans, radios, hairdryer, Cable TV and patios. Maid service is provided 6 days a week.

Beds: Units will have one double bed, a queen or 2 twin beds in the bedroom [queen bed in one-bedroom only]. Please advise bed preference and we will try to fulfill your request based on availability at the time of booking. A third bed is in the living room for the third person.
Reservation: We require a visa or master card to guarantee your reservation. Name of cardholder, #, and expiration date. Deposit and full payment can be done in the UK or USA. If you prefer this method,our bank account details will be provide. A deposit of 3 nights is require to secure your reservation.

Cancellation: If reservation is cancelled within 14 days of arrival the penalty is 3 nights per unit. In the instance of "No-show" the penalty is 3 nights. If reservation is cancelled before the 14 day period the fee is US$100.00.

Local Area Details

At Paynes Bay there is great snorkeling, as with most of the beaches along the west coast. There is an underwater marine park in Holetown for excellent snorkeling.

From the Angler you can walk to other restaurants, bars, hotels and nightclubs. You can walk along the beach to Sunset Crest and Holetown, which is approximately 3 k.m. In sunset Crest you will find banks, supermarket, shopping plazas, many restaurants and bars and nightclubs. All tours and attractions including scuba diving can be arranged.

Bridgetown is 6 km away, or 15 minutes by driving. The walk to the bus stop is 2 minutes and the bus fare is B$1.50.

One-way transfer cost is US$30.00 per car[if luggage can fit in a car]- 2 to 3 pax, or US$38.00 for a van. Price is calculated on number of persons and pieces of luggage. You pay the taxi driver diectly. We will arrange a Taxi to meet you at the airport upon receipt of your flight details. Richard or Lorna will have a sign with your name and Angler Apartments. The airport is 24 km or 30 minutes drive.

Car or mini-moke rental: US$55.00 daily or US$275.00 pr.week for a moke, 288.00 pr week for an airconditioned car. Vehicles can be delivered and returned to the airport or to the Apartments. A valid driver's license is required. Should you require a vehicle, this MUST be reserved with accommodation to avoid disappointment. Please advise numbr of days and type of vehicle.
