Property Details of Tenerife Apartment
San Vicente is approximately 10 - 15 minutes drive from the famous resort of Puerto de la Cruz. However, San Vicente itself is not a holiday resort which makes it a perfect place for a quiet peaceful holiday. There are no high rise buildings just spectacular scenery and the apartments overlook a nature reserve going right down to the sea. There is also a beach (Socorro Beach) within ½ hours walking distance from the apartments. In winter the waves are very high and it is used for surfing and swimming in summer. It is not safe to swim here in winter.
There is one shop and five restaurants in the village of San Vicente, each very different in style and character and within 4 - 5 minutes walking distance from the apartments. They are also remarkably cheap as they cater more for locals than tourists.
In Puerto de la Cruz there are many restaurants, nightclubs, swimming areas and a wonderful beach garden. The famous Loro Parque is only 12 minutes drive from the apartments and contains the best aquarium in Europe including the celebrated shark tunnel. It also has the wonderful penguin world. Local Area DetailsThere are many things to do in northern Tenerife including walking, climbing in the mountains and forests, swimming (in summer), golf or just touring around Tenerife in a car, bus or taxi. There is also a sun terrace on top of the apartments for those who just wish to sunbathe. It is a wonderful place in which to do nothing at all. To quote from one holiday maker just recently returned - "We had a great time, loved San Vicente and it's restaurants and thought Socorro beach was a knockout (on more than one occasion almost literally!)"
