It is spacious and comfortable,around 20’ sq, having a sleeping area, a kitchenette/diner and a sitting area with TV. It also has an en-suite bathroom with shower & WC.
There’s an outdoor seating area, and a shared laundry room.

Brocklebeck is set in a stunning location, with magnificent views of Helvellyn and Blencathra. Our grounds include gardens, meadow & woodland – home to deer, owls, buzzards, red squirrels & badgers.
We’re in the heart of the Lake District, only about 2 miles from Keswick, or a 10 minute drive from Grasmere. The magical ancient stone circle at Castlerigg is about 1.5 miles away
You can walk the surrounding valleys & fells from the door, or use Brackenrigg as the perfect base from which to explore Lakeland.
We can help you to get the most out of your trip to the Lakes, by recommending suitable walks, putting you in touch with climbing instructors, sailing schools & pony stables....or just suggesting good picnic spots – and, of course, restaurants & inns.

Local Area Details

The main attraction is, of course, the stunning outdoors - Helvellyn & Blencathra are viewed from your window, Tewet's Tarn & Castlerigg Stone Circle are nearby, the lakes of Derwentwater & Thirlmere are also close by.
Grasmere, home to Wordsworth, is a short 10 minute drive, and the deightful Victorian market town of Keswick-on-Derwentwater is only about 2 miles away.
We can recommend walking routes of all sizes, climbing, canoeing, sailing, cycling, fishing, horse-riding, even paragliding.
The launch on Derwentwater is a particularly popular way to spend a day, combining beautiful lakeland scenery with pleasant shore-line walks & afternoon tea.
There are plenty of gardens to explore in Cumbria.
Keswick has a wonderful theatre which will invariably have several productions for you to choose from during your stay.
