Property Details of Costa de la Luz Cottage

Our two cottages are part of the old stable block of a large secluded country estate on the edge of the Alcornocales Natural Park. They are attractively furnished with well equipped kitchens and have patios for sitting out. The two cottages can join up for a larger party.
The area is perfectly safe for children and we have a large garden with a small pool, a big trampoline, swings and other games.

Local Area Details

Grown-ups can also swim in the lake within view or local beaches. Tarifa (half an hour) is the Mecca for wind/kite-surfers and has a humming life, night and day. Visit exotic Morocco or take a boat to see the dolphins and whales in the Straits.

There are plenty of Golf courses nearby. Historic Gibraltar is 20 mins round the Bay. Lots of interesting country walks can be made, some easy, others more testing.

Our local town is floral Los Barrios and busy Algeciras with good shops and a variety of supermarkets no more that 10 mins drive. Market Day in Los Barrios is on Saturday. Excellent seafood restaurants are to be found in Palmones on the Bay.

Excursions can be made to Ronda (the famous Tajo gorge), Jerez (horses and sherry) or exploring the Sierras and forests of the Park. On the whole there is something to please everybody!
