It is fully furnished with pine units, tiled floors, TV, video,CD/radio/tape player, fully fitted kitchen with full size oven, hob, fridge and washing machine, and two baths with showers. Patio doors lead from the lounge onto the terrace and small private garden, which is furnished with table, chairs and sunbeds. The terrace overlooks the beautiful gardens and pathways leading up to the swimming pools. This peaceful location has no through traffic and is therefore very safe for young children. There is a large open-air swimming pool with a bridge over surrounded by sun terraces and gardens, a separate children?s pool and a children?s playground.

Local Area Details

THE LOCAL AREA - These apartments are just a few minutes stroll from the beautiful beach in Pueblo Laguna, about 10 minutes from Mojacar. This unspoilt area offers a wide range of restaurants, bars, shops, banks and supermarkets all close by. It is ideal for a relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle of the more commercialised resorts. There is an excellent local bus service if you prefer not to hire a car.

ACTIVITIES - Vera Beach Club (watersports); Aqua Park; tennis; boat/fishing trips; cycle hire; horse riding; microlight flights; go-karting; Caves of Sorbas. There is an indoor swimming pool just 2 minutes along the road, with a small fitness suite attached.

GOLF - There are a number of excellent golf courses in the surrounding area - Marina de la Torre, Cortijo Grande, Desert Springs (Europe's first desert style course) and the newly opened Valle del Este.

OUT AND ABOUT - Almeria is steeped in Andalucian tradition just waiting to be explored. It is one of the warmest, driest regions of Spain with over 320 days of sunshine a year and has a unique landscape of wide open plains, imposing mountain ranges and excellent beaches. The historic villages of Mojacar, Garrucha, Vera, Turre and Los Gallardos, all with their weekly markets to visit, are within a short distance of Pueblo Laguna.

Garrucha, with its many restaurants, bars, shops and a weekly market, is a lovely twenty minute stroll along the promenade. You can relax in one of the fresh fish restaurants and watch the fishermen arrive with their catch.

Just along the coast from Garrucha is Mojacar Beach where you will find further wide, sandy beaches, some with watersports, and a wide selection of restaurants, bars and shops. A drive up into the mountains brings you to the typically Andalucian Mojacar Village - a picturesque village with narrow streets and architecture reflecting the Moorish influence over the centuries. There are shops selling antiques and jewellery, numerous restaurants, bars and traditional tapas bars. Many other towns and villages are well worth a drive through the stunning mountain scenery.

Almost the entire coast between Mojacar and Almeria is covered by the Cabo de Gata National Park - an extensive area of sand dunes, wetlands and salt marshes.

The Alhambra Palace in Granada or Mini-Hollywood, a wild-west town deep in the mountains, are both recommended for a visit.
