In our present day, bus loads of tourists are coming to visit it every day. But have no fear. These blocks of apartments that we recommend are 4 Km away and you don’t have to mingle with the tourists unless you wish to do so. In any case, such visits last for a couple of hours including a lunch break. The classical descriptions such as “off the beaten track” or “away from the (whatever) crowd” still apply to these apartments’ location.
The beach (pebbled) and the turquoise Mediterranean Sea is only a stone’s throw away, separated from the apartments by the main road connecting to the Antalya airport to the east, and the Dalaman airport to the west. So although secluded, you are by no means isolated. The town centre and the Friday Market place are by the St. Nicholas’ Church, i.e. only 4 Km from the apartments. There will be shops on the premises for your daily needs. There are 3 swimming pools of different sizes and depths as well as a kid’s pool. Each of the 5 blocks of apartments has its own lift.
As opposed to the classical 1 to 3 weeks holiday packages, here you have the flexibility of renting an apartment for any duration you wish. Accordingly, you may rent a furnished one, (basic furniture) or an unfurnished one to purchase your own furniture to your heart’s desire, except for the kitchen cupboards as they are already installed. The latter case may be recommended for long term rentals or when purchasing an apartment, especially with a view to re-rent them to your colleagues in your home country, thus get a reimbursement on your expenditure.

The apartments come in three sizes;
55 square meter studios consisting of 1 bedroom, 1 living room cum open plan kitchenette, WC/Shower and a balcony.
85 square meter apartments have 2 bedrooms, 1 larger living room, a separate kitchen, a balcony, WC/Shower.
120 sqm apartments have 3 bedrooms, a large living room, and separate kitchen, 1 WC plus another WC/Shower, with either 2 or 3 balconies.
All of the apartments have sea view and also overlook the swimming pool(s).
Demre (Kale) is a small town with a population varying from 10.000 to 20.000 from winter to summer. Situated between the hills and the sea-shore, there are green houses all over Demre and vegetables and fruits are in abundance. Fishing is good

The Location: DEMRE (MYRA), also known as KALE.

Demre is a village some three kilometres from the coast and stands near the site of ancient Myra, famed as the Episcopal seat of St Nicholas, patron saint of pawnbrokers and sailors, and known to children as Father Christmas. Saint Nicholas, alias Father Christmas, alias Santa Claus, was a real person who lived near Antalya in the warm climate of southern Turkey rather than in the icy Arctic desert. Born at Patara near Kalkan, he spent most of his life at Myra, 140 kilometres southwest of Antalya.
Saint Nicholas was elected bishop of Myra during the reign of Diocletian and died here around AD 350. The church of St. Nicholas is not where he preached, but was first built around his tomb in the 6th century.
