Award winning Shannon's End is situated on a hill top overlooking panoramic rural and mountain views. It offers the ideal retreat location yet is only a ten minute drive from the beautiful northern tablelands city of Armidale.
Two spacious suites with en-suite and private entrance are available to guests. These are tastefully furnished for your comfort, with queen bed, sofa, TV, radio/CD player, books, magazines, games etc.. There is a small refrigerator, microwave, electric jug, toaster and sandwich maker provided, as well as all cutlery, crockery etc. Fresh fruit, a variety of teas and coffees, and a jar of home-baked biscuits is provided. A complimentary Devonshire Tea is offered on your arrival.
The garden is very attractive and tranquil and attracts many native birds. A delicious breakfast may be enjoyed under the vine-covered pergola or in the privacy of your room.

Local Area DetailsShannon's End is a 5 minute drive from the Golf Course and the University of New England. Armidale is a cultural city with museums, galleries, restaurants and historic buildings. Many drama productions, concerts, festivals etc. take place during the year.
Waterfalls, spectacular gorge country, trout fishing, National Parks, bushwalking, horse riding may all be enjoyed within an hour's drive. Helicopter flights can be arranged to view the countryside.
