Wanaka is New Zealand's primary alpine paradise resort town, and in pole position within Wanaka is Wanaka Homestead, where we offer gorgeous reasonably priced accommodation and the choice of 2 and 3 bedroom cottages or B&B luxury lodge accommodation.

Our self-contained 3 bedroom cottage is known as "the barn". Located 200m from the lake, the barn comfortably accommodates up to 7 people, with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and its own spacious lounge-kitchen-dining area opening onto a grassy courtyard.

The barn is a “home from home” with two sofas, DVD & CD player, Sky TV, telephone and dining area with seating for 6. The kitchen is fully-equipped with oven, hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, and all other essentials. The master bedroom has king-size bed and ensuite facilities. Upstairs there are two attic-style bedrooms: one arranged as king; and the other normally arranged as king plus single. With prior warning all of the beds can be re-arranged as king or twin. Both bathrooms are equipped with showers and one also has a bath. Under-floor heating, superior insulation and double-glazed timber joinery are found throughout. The barn is warm clean and new, child friendly, non-smoking and serviced daily. Complimentary on-site facilities include broadband Internet station, guest laundry, outdoor hot tub, bicycles, ski store & drying room, off-street parking and a broadband wireless Internet signal for those with their own laptop.

In 2006 barn tariff is NZ$450 per night, and in 2007 the barn tariff is NZ$480 inclusive of tax, linen, servicing and facilities.
