"Au Chateau" is a beautiful 18th century manor house which enjoys stunning, panoramic views of the Pyrenees. The house is the ideal getaway for families or groups of friends looking for the perfect relaxing break.

Au Chateau is situated on the site of a mediaeval motte and bailie providing commanding views of the surrounding countryside and the snow capped Pyrenees beyond. The manoir lies within the hamlet of Luby Betmont, which consists of a church, a few other houses and several farm buildings. The house is surrounded by 4.5 acres of mature gardens, which are attended by a local gardener who also maintains the beautiful pool area outside the house.

Accommodation

The house offers extensive accommodation for two families or a group of friends holidaying together. There are two large drawing rooms, a dining room, five bedrooms (one with bunk beds, one with twin beds), a TV/games room, a well-equipped kitchen and three baths with two more loos downstairs. The master bedroom is en-suite.

Kitchen

The kitchen has a double electric oven with a gas hob. There is a large American style fridge/freezer, and a dishwasher, and, in the utility room, a washing machine and tumble drier. A washing line is situated at the back of the house and all crockery, cutlery and electrical equipment are provided, including a toaster, a Braun mixer and cafetieres.

Heating

There are radiators in each room and, in addition, there are two huge working fireplaces, one in the dining room and one in the drawing room.
