Recently built in a typically Spanish style, accommodation is on 2 levels with a covered front terrace having seating for 6 people. Three steps from the front terrace lead to a pathway with water feature, followed by the private 10 x 5 metre swimming pool with large terrace having ample sunbeds and seating for 6 people. Last but not least there is the long sweeping palm-tree lined in and out driveway and private outdoor bowling run with seating. The light & airy accommodation, which has ceiling fans throughout (air conditioning available at extra cost), comprises: lounge/dining room with wood burning fire, video, CD/tape player and satellite TV. The lounge/diner has a side picture window overlooking the countryside and area of Alfaix and full length front and side glass patio doors giving access to swimming pool and views over orange groves, mountains, and palm tree lined driveway. An archway leads through to the kitchen which has been fully equipped, home-from-home. The property has been furnished as a second home for the owners and therefore has all the comforts one would expect with comfortable dining and lounge furniture to accommodate 6 people, alongwith traditional wooden Spanish furniture. There are 2 large single-bedded rooms downstairs with large ceiling fans and views over orange groves and/or mountains, which share the family bathroom. The master bedroom, with double bed and large ceiling fan (air conditioning available at extra cost), is located on the 1st floor with an en-suite shower room and patio doors leading to a private terrace with views over extensive orange groves and mountains. The family bathroom has 'his & hers' wash hand basins, bidet, toilet, bath & over bath shower, whilst the master en-suite has a large shower cubicle, 'his & hers' wash basins, bidet & toilet. For your use there is an ample supply of childrens/family videos, CD's and books and there are hairdryers in every bedroom. Fresh hand and bath towels, alongwith tea towels will be supplied on a weekly basis. Located on the outskirts of the villages known as Alfaix and Turre, the villa is approximately 7 kilometres (approx 6 mins drive) from the popular resort of Mojacar with its white sandy beaches. Mojacar is one of the most popular tourist centre in the South Eastern corner of Spain. The countryside around this area is what some people would call 'Real Spain' and comes under the province of Almeria. The towns and villages are Spanish in character and you are likely to see donkeys and herdsmen walking their goats over the mountains. Local wildlife includes wild boar, genet, fox and weasel. In the area where Villa Angela is located there are an abundance of wild rabbits which you can also see early morning or late evening. The Mojacar area is Spain as it used to be; small villages in the hills (some with a small bar for drinks and tapas), orange, lemon, almond/olive groves and goatherds. This is a slow way of life that is fast disappearing! The property is situated between the Sierra Cabrera mountains to the front, the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean to the left and the foothills of the Los Filabres mountain range to the rear! The present day 'pueblo' (town) of Mojacar has developed from one of the most ancient communities in the whole of Spain, with a history which stretches back more than 4,000 years. The area has been dominated in turn by the Phoenicians, Carthaginians, Romans and Moors. The Moorish sultans were ousted 500 years ago but theirs has been the strongest influence of all. To this day the old town of Mojacar resembles a Moroccan village more than an international tourist resort. A visit to Mojacar is well worthwhile, with its twisting labyrinth of narrow cobbled streets, old arches and domed houses, stacked one above the other. Mojacar Pueblo (old town) has magnificent panoramic views overlooking the mountains, valleys and sea and is filled with superb restaurants, small privately owned boutiques, charming squares and intimate bars. Only 2km away, down at the seafront, you are in another world of international restaurants and bars offering a wide variety of Spanish and International cuisine. Here, all residential buildings are restricted to 2 storeys and hotels to 3 - you can see why the village is aptly named and famous throughout Spain as 'El Rincon del Embrujo', "The Corner of Enchantment". The result is a lively resort which offers plenty of activities for the foreign holidaymaker whilst retaining its traditional Spanish charm and character. Above rates are based on a 2-week stay. For a single week please add 10% to the rates. A 25 percent non refundable deposit secures your booking with the remaining 75 percent payable 8 weeks prior to occupation. Rental conditions forwarded upon booking. Booking week commences Saturday in mid and high season and is negotiable out of season. Minimum rental is 1 week and rental price is based on villa facilities and accommodation size not the number of persons in occupation. Therefore no discount can be given for low occupation. Weekly rates include electricity, water, supply of fresh bedding & towels on arrival, cleaning between lets and regular cleaning of pool.
