Torched by insurgents during the 1798 Rebellion, it was rebuilt in 1864. In 1925 the Estate was sold to the Patrician Brothers and was subsequently purchased by Donal Morrissey and family in 1994. In 2004 the brand new Mount Wolseley Hilton was complete and is a true testimony to the hard work and dedication put into it by its owners.
