Paz Y Calma offers 2 double and 2 twin bedrooms; a full sized bathroom with bath, shower over, wash basin, bidet and toilet; a shower room with walk in shower, toilet and washbasin; a fully fitted kitchen with gas hob, electric built in oven, microwave, fridge freezer, all cutlery and kitchen utensils are included as well as iron and board; the lounge dining area has seating for up to 8 people, a sofa, tv, video and dvd player, as well as magazines, books and games to keep you amused. There is an open fireplace which is available from November to March on the cooler winter nights. Outside there is a sun terrace with sun loungers, tables and chairs to sit and look out over the valley and countryside. New for 2007 -we have a small pool that is shared with the owners, available for cooling off in. Children must be supervised at all times....
Local Area DetailsWe are located in the Sierra de Castril which is situated 90 minutes north of Granada in Eastern Andalucia and is set in a Natural Park. We are in an ideal location for those looking for a rural retreat - get away from it all. Walking and Mountain Biking/Road Cycling through the Sierra de Castril and the surrounding area are an absolute must and there are many marked routes throughout the park/countryside. Many birds circle the area most days and include Vultures and Eagles so be sure to bring some binoculars to appreciate in full Canoeing and other recreational activities at the Sierra de Castril Lake Bolera and San Clemente during the Summer Season.
