The apartment is situated on the second floor and accessible by stairs, but you can also reach it by elevator, which will stop right in the apartment.

The space within is divided into a bathroom, a bedroom and a living room/kitchen. The sleeping facilities consist out of double bed and a sofa bed in the living room. In the fully equipped kitchen you will find everything necessary to prepare something to eat. In the cosy living room you can use the comfortable furniture to relax after a long day of strolling and sightseeing in Barcelona.

Local Area Details

Situated in the very heart of Barcelona. Just a little bit outside the real commercial area of downtown Barcelona. But it will only take a 3 to 5 minute walk to get there. Nearby (all within walking distance) you will find many things worthwhile visiting: The Picasso Museum, The Parc Ciutadella, the Big Cathedral and of course the world-famous promenade: The Rambla. But before reaching those you have to find your way through all the charming streets and squares of the gothic area. Each street with it’s own specific character and awkward shops. Going to other way, you will find yourself near the City Zoo and the Parc Ciutadella. The park is especially during the spring and summer weekends, simply to relax, have a little pick-nick or listen to the different musicians that are bound to play there.

Of course there are also sufficient accommodations and facilities nearby for those who rather spend there time eating in a typical Spanish restaurant or have a good laugh in one of the many bars. The neighbourhood Borne, famous for its nightlife is within very short distance.

Transport
Being situated in the centre of town, you will have most activities worthwhile seeing and visiting at close hand. For visiting other parts of town (e.g. the architectural pieces of the Catalan mastermind Gaudi) you will be very well connected with the Barcelona metro-net. The nearest metro station is at 600 meters.
