WELCOME TO PLAISANCE Plaisance is situated just outside the medieval town of Mirepoix. The property was originally an old French farmhouse, with an open barn attached to one end. The barn has been converted to form two spacious "Gites" with a covered balcony and paved terrace. Each "Gite" is made up as follows :The ground floor is open plan, consisting of Kitchen area with fridge, electric cooker, washing machine and microwave. An iron and ironing board are provided. Dining area to seat six people. Lounge area with sofa's providing seating for six people(one or two convertible to beds). Radio/cd/tape player, TV and DVD player, occasional tables and dresser. Features include tiled floor, exposed beams, exposed stone wall and built in wood-burner.The first floor :Parquet flooring with exposed beams and exposed stone wall in each bedroom. S/room : Enclosed shower, toilet and vanity unit.B/room 1 : Two pine single beds and wardrobe.B/room 2 : Double pine bed, dressing table, wardrobe, seating. Leading out onto balcony with a table and two chairs.All bed-linen and towels are included and for stays exceeding one week will be changed. A cot and high chair are available if required.Plaisance has eight hectares of land of which a couple make up the gardens. Facilities within the garden are : Badminton, table tennis, petanque (French bowls) and B-B-Q.Just over the courtyard from the Gites is a large swimming pool (12m x 6m )with seating area.
