This is a mixed holiday and residential complex in a quieter part of Costa del Silencio but well placed for bars and restaurants. Golf courses are within easy reach as are several PADI diving centres. The complex has its own pool and well maintained gardens. Fishing from the rocks in front of the apartment is popular whilst there are beaches at the neighbouring Las Galletas which is also popular for its sea front bars and restaurants

Local Area DetailsThe Local Area In the surrounding area there are excellent restaurants of many nationalities there are shops and supermarkets to cater for your needs You can book tours rent a car or play tennis or relax in one of the bars Amerilla Bay with its beautiful rocky coastline and pebble beach is just 10 minutes walk away The local village of Las Galletas is also about 10 minutes walk away In Las Galletas there are plenty of interesting shops restaurants bars banks etc all the locals do their shopping here as the prices are cheaper In the village of Las Galletas there is a sandy shingle beach there is good surfing here There is a nice promenade which leads down to the lovely harbour there is another beach at the harbour which is completely safe and is ideal for snorkelling As you walk down the promenade there are bars and restaurants including speciality fish restaurants There is a local fish market to where you can purchase fresh fish just landed The Costa del Silencio comes under urban planning controls there are no high apartment blocks no hotels and most buildings are no higher than three floors Just 2 minutes walk from the apartment there is a bus stop and here you can catch a bus to most parts of the island Playa Americas and Las Christianos takes about 25 minutes Check out the timetable on www titsa com If you do not fancy moving too far from the apartment there is plenty to do locally why not hire a bike and explore the area There are some lovely nature trails and the cliff top walk is stunning you can see the whole area from here stay for the sunset it is fantastic Quite a few of the bars put on entertainment at night For something special go to Flicks on Amerilla Bay they will bring you back to the apartment or Strikers Exciles Stellas Brookes Starlights etc at Coral Mar complex just down the road

| for all enquiries email richardemail at virgin net Apartment is a 2 bed but only 1 bed is available as personal possesions locked away in bedroom This is a personal holiday home and not a rental apartment so you can be sure of quality and cleaniness etc We are not able to use the apartment between 20th Feb and end of May so are looking to rent it out at 100 GBP per week for a 4 week period 150 GBP per week for 2 weeks or 200 GBP per week There is a large double folding bed sofa for use by further 2 persons We would prefer no young children as we like our neighbours plus Silencio dont have much to offer youngsters anyway If you know Silencio then you dont need telling about the mainly mature residents and plentifull supply of bars and cafes etc Offering a quiet and relaxing holiday with plenty of activities to keep you going We can arrange collection and delivery to and from airport at 15 euros each way plus rental of our Fiat punto for 50 GBP a week but you must be over 40 yrs for our insurance |
