Seaside Mews Cottage is ideal self-catering holiday accomodation, situated in the small village of Hope Cove near Kingsbridge in Devon. Perfect for a family holiday or exploring Devon, with the South West Coastal Path being a short distance away.

The beaches are sandy with rock pools with lots of seasonal festivals and fetes in the area. There is also a slipway for launching boats.

Hope Cove is between Salcombe and Kingsbridge in South Devon and is in the South Hams district. This is a designated area of outstanding natural beauty.

The Mews Cottages, were once a stable block and is now surrounding by a flowered courtyard and pond. From the living room window there are attractive views over a valley. With well maintained gardens of approximately 2 acres, there is ample space for children to play. Plenty of parking for cars, trailers and boats.

SeasideMewsCottage is homely and comfortable. Sleeping 5 in 2 bedrooms (1 Double & 2 with singles and a double sofa bed in the living room). Providing a full range of equipment, fridge, cooker, microwave TV and DVD player. We provide duvets, pillows and blankets, you just bring your own bed linen! (Linen and towels can be provided for a small additional charge, as can highchairs and travel cots etc). There is a large shower room and toilet on the ground floor.
This two-storey, two bedroomed place has an open plan living room with kitchen area. The double bedroom has a hand basin and has a sliding door to the 2nd bedroom. The changeover day is usually Saturday but out of season, you are welcome to arrive other days!

We now have a payphone installed and Broadband is available!

There is a separate Laundry Room which contains a metered washing machine and tumble dryer together with irons and ironing boards and a hoover for guest's use. There is also a freezer.

At dusk badgers come into the garden to feed!

Hope is Old English meaning "small enclosed valley". It perfectly sums up this delightful village which slopes down to two attractive award winning beaches. The village, once a fishing community, remains uncommercialised.

The oldest part of the town, called Inner Hope, clusters around the beach, where there is a slipway for launching boats.

The South West Coast Path runs through the village, and gives access to the tiny church, perched on a cliff above the beaches.

Seaside Mews Cottage is situated on a site, with similar propeties. Located just approximatley 400 meters from the beaches, P.O./Village Store. There is a Restaurant and Pub. There are several Hotels dotted about the village, all of which will cater for non-residents.

The main towns nearest to Hope Cove are Salcombe and Kingsbridge, with Plymouth being the nearest City.

There is much to see and do in the South Hams, adventure parks, National Trust properties and gardens, steam trains, river trips, zoo and wildlife centres, a magnificent aquarium and of course, walking and sailing and riding. The beautiful scenery of Dartmoor is a little over half an hour's drive away and the Dartmoor Zoological Park is just over half an hour away.
